About the Team

The Global Value Management & Industry Team is a business consulting practice which assists organizations in building their case for Workday and helps prospective customers quantify what life with Workday will mean for them.

The team was established in 2021, and strives to improve the scalability of the Global VMI Team and expand their impact in the field by assisting with market research, financial modeling, data analysis, and building business cases through a ticketing system. This is an exciting opportunity to help scale a relatively new team and use your skills to deliver results to the organization. We grow as demand for our services constantly rises. About the Role

As a member of our Service Center, you will be actively involved in uncovering customers' strategy and needs in order to craft powerful messaging on how Workday can bring value to their organizations.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Value Selling enablement of Workday's global sales organization using our online business case tool to effectively substantiate a technology investment in Workday technology.
  • Support the central initiative to enhance our global sales organization's value-selling capabilities.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather insights and data for crafting compelling cases.
  • Implement strategies to drive adoption of new methodologies and technologies, ensuring seamless integration into daily sales activities.
  • Provide training sessions, resources, and ongoing support to sales teams to facilitate a smooth transition.
  • Creating initial drafts of Business Cases to support a technology investment in Workday using publicly available information, online research, and input from the Value Manager.
  • Performing research on prospective customers (e.g strategic positioning, competitive analysis, and financial analysis).
  • Developing customer facing sales collaterals offering insights into how an investment in Workday will align to the strategic objectives of our prospective customers.
  • Assisting Value Managers with ad hoc support throughout the sales cycle including building deliverables, pulling research and more.
  • Supporting the training, reporting, tooling, and continual development of Value Managers to ensure they stay efficient in a fast-paced market environment.

About You

We're looking for an ambitious, goal-oriented individual, with a strong sense of comradery and partnership. Someone capable of working independently, with minimal direction, who is eager to learn and grow professionally.

Basic Qualifications

  • 4+ years relevant work experience, ideally in consulting, financial or business analysis, sales, market research or similar.
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Business, Finance or Accounting, or a related field
  • Validated experience crafting polished and visually appealing customer facing sales collaterals (i.e. PowerPoint presentations)

Other Qualifications

  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a command of the English language.
  • Experienced with using Excel to run analysis.
  • Fundamental intuition for business with a basic understanding of financial modeling and ROI (return on investment) analysis.
  • Flexibility to adjust to multiple demands, shifting priorities, ambiguity, and rapid change.
  • Ability to travel up to 10% of the time.
