Our Client is a global company company based near Rondo Daszyńskiego. They are looking for a Regional Accounting Lead to manage R2R, P2P and O2C operations. Our Client is going to establish new SSC in Warsaw and is looking for an experienced leader to manage the knowledge transfers, set up a team and implement new accounting system.

Opis stanowiska

  • Overall responsibility for the correctness of the reported financial data in accordance with local GAAP and IFRS requirements, compliance with company financial reporting guidelines and assurance that payments taxes and social security contributions are made on time
  • Co-ordination and participation in internal audits, including ownership of any control weaknesses identified to ensure all remedial actions completed
  • Day to day management and coordination of the half year and year end external audits, including liaison with the audit team on site, reporting to key stakeholders in country, ensuring all audit deliverables are prepared on time and in the required format, management of any proposed audit adjustments
  • Preparation of the local GAAP financial statements and ensuring all local filings completed on a timely basis
  • Preparation and performance of month end, quarter end and annual closing activities including the preparation and provision of supporting audit documentation
  • Senior contact and escalation point with Group Accounting and other internal finance stakeholders as regards day to day activities pertaining to new finance/IT requirements
  • Identification and resolution of accounting R2R issues, including ensuring that items are correctly accounted for in accordance with Group financial reporting guidelines and local GAAP
  • Provide assistance and guidance to accounting staff relating to the handling of non-routine issues
  • Provision of accounting advice to the Sales and Service Business Administration personnel (e.g. order intake and revenue recognition)
  • As part of general operations monitoring and ensuring that internal process controls are in place and followed
  • Ensure that all SOX compliance issues are managed and that any control weaknesses are identified and remediated on a timely basis

Profil kandydata

  • Proven experience in a Shared Services environment working as a R2R Manager
  • Background experience working in P2P or O2C department
  • Master's or Bachelor Degree in Finance, Controlling or Accounting
  • Leadership experience: practical experience managing operations' performance (SLAs, KPIs)
  • Hands-on experience of Shared Services transition a plus
  • Fluent in English
  • Availability to travel during the Transition phase - and then occasionally
