Accounting Team Lead Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Accounting Team Lead to join our team at Antal Sp. z o.o. in Warszawa. As a key member of our finance team, you will be responsible for supervising and ensuring that all retail accounting activities are accurately and timely performed for all entities across Europe.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate and manage the European Retail Accounting team, responsible for posting and reconciliation of sales, stock reconciliation, cash and credit cards reconciliation, cooperation with store managers during stock takes, retail invoicing of transfers between stores
  • Closely monitor and ensure adherence to group closing calendar, policies, and procedures
  • Prepare additional reports to support business needs on a monthly/weekly basis for all units within the group
  • Support store audits and annual financial audits
  • Develop and implement new ideas to improve processes and participate in continuous improvements/project activities
  • Act as a contact point for Retail Operation Managers for financial/logistic processes
  • Monitor and optimize KPIs, deriving measures for their improvement
  • Provide service-oriented communication with internal and external interfaces
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field
  • Practical experience in finance, inventory, accounts receivables, or related functions
  • Experience as a people leader/manager
  • Experience working in multinational organizations/SSC
  • Good knowledge of English, both written and spoken
  • Thorough IT skills (Office 365) are required, knowledge of SAP and D365 is advantageous
  • Team-oriented and communicative approach in an intercultural environment
