About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Accounting Team Leader to join our core team in Warsaw and contribute to establishing best-in-class service. As a key member of our finance team, you will be responsible for delivering operational excellence to our locations in Asia.

Key Responsibilities

  • Reporting on work effects, KPIs, and process changes to the Finance Lead
  • Supervising and coordinating accounting processes, ensuring effective cooperation with other departments
  • Demonstrating understanding of the business environment in India, with awareness of accounting specifics a plus
  • Preparing and supervising transition activities to SSC in Warsaw
  • Communicating and interacting effectively with people across cultures
  • Monitoring process quality and implementing issue solutions
  • Ensuring process continuity by setting priorities aligned with company goals
  • Complying with accounting policy and internal/external regulations
  • Assigning and monitoring tasks performed by team members
  • Motivating and supporting subordinates in achieving set goals and employee development
  • Managing day-to-day activities and work distribution in the team
  • Maintaining Accounting policies and SOP procedures
  • Participating in new transition projects and team stabilization
  • Supporting Accounting-related projects and GBS Strategy

Requirements

  • At least +2 years of leadership experience in Accounting or Finance
  • At least +6 years of relevant experience in Accounting (AP/AR/RTR)
  • Very good knowledge of SAP FI module required
  • Experience in leading Accounting Transitions from/to India
  • Able to coach people, promote teamwork, set examples, and give/solicit feedback
  • High level of attention to detail
  • Strong analytical background
  • Keen eye for process and quality improvement
  • Proactivity and ability to take initiative
  • Innovative and open-minded
  • Openness to traveling to Asian locations
  • Very good command of English language with good communication skills, knowledge of Hindi language an advantage
