Lead a High-Performing Sales Team

We are seeking a seasoned Sales Team Lead to join our dynamic team at RS Group plc. As a key member of our sales leadership team, you will be responsible for driving revenue growth, developing high-performing sales teams, and fostering a results-oriented environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate daily tasks of the sales team to ensure seamless operations and deliver high-quality service.
  • Develop and implement sales strategies to drive revenue growth, expand sales areas, and develop customer bases.
  • Take ownership of customer needs, resolve issues, and build lasting relationships through effective negotiation and influencing skills.
  • Work closely with sales management, field sales, and internal teams to assist with complex inquiries and drive sales growth.
  • Lead sales initiatives by managing inbound and outbound calls, providing accurate sales quotations, and converting opportunities into orders.
  • Actively promote our value-added services (VAS) to customers and ensure all sales activities are documented accurately.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to execute growth initiatives and promotional campaigns.
  • Monitor sales performance, identify areas for improvement, and turn market insights and competitor activities into actionable strategies.
  • Lead with confidence, resolving conflicts, and driving the team to exceed sales and margin targets.
Requirements:
  • Proven ability to lead and develop high-performing sales teams.
  • Success in driving revenue growth and managing customer relationships.
  • Skilled in resolving issues and building strong customer connections.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • Experience with sales process knowledge, including quotations, calls, and converting leads.
  • Results-driven with a focus on prioritizing tasks for best ROI and meeting revenue/margin targets.
  • Ability to turn market insights into actionable plans.
  • Experience working cross-functionally to support sales growth.
  • Strong decision-making and conflict resolution skills.
  • English proficiency with strong communication skills.
