What will you be responsible for?

  • Developing robust and enduring systems,
  • Applying coding skills in actuarial processes to handle large volumes of data efficiently for decision-making support,
  • Revamping existing processes using Python, Power Query, and the latest Excel features,
  • Conducting tests and designing checks,
  • Collaborating with actuarial experts across the UK,
  • Effectively communicating outcomes to stakeholders,
  • Being a team player and supporting flexible resource allocation.

What qualities are we seeking?

  • Prior experience in coding, particularly with Python,
  • Capability to work independently with meticulous attention to detail and problem-solving skills,
  • Basic understanding of asset valuation; Actuarial knowledge is advantageous but not mandatory,
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills in English,
  • Ability to articulate technical concepts clearly to varying audiences,
  • Aptitude for problem identification and resolution or escalation when necessary.
