About the jobThe Product Data Manager role coordinates and supports various work processes and projects within Global Marketing and Product Management focusing on Product Data Management and Product Information Management.
Your tasks- creation, maintenance and processing of product and supplier master data according to specifications, supplied properties and product artifacts;
- recording of product properties and proactive part maintenance and data updates;
- communicating and collaborating cross-functionally including outside and inside sales team members, product management, engineering, marketing communications, project management team, operations, and supply chain;
- independent and proactive processing of internal and external product data inquiries and the associated communications;
- supporting brand partner requests and communicating with them directly and in collaboration with Franke Sales team;
- active cooperation with OEM partners to gather necessary product information, technical and sales documentation, price sheets and price quotes;
- supporting the OEM and Franke Product Management teams throughout the entire product life cycle with respect to equipment, spare parts, and smallwares / kitchen accessories, ensuring data is up to date and accurate;
- managing sales price verification, updating prices, sell price execution and maintenance;
- active engagement in process and product portfolio optimization.
- completed studies, preferably in industrial engineering or marketing;
- experience in product management, marketing, import / export or purchasing;
- good technical understanding is an advantage;
- English fluent written and spoken;
- experience in working with ERP systems;
- reliable, team player, self-initiated;
- independent, precise and systematic way of working;
- proficiency in fostering positive relationships with customers, suppliers/OEMs, and internal stakeholders;
- at least moderate expertise in using analytical and BI tools;
- knowledge of principles and methods for showing, promoting, and selling products or services;
- at least moderate research and synthesis skills; ability to translate data into insights and actions;
- proficiency in MS Excel, MS Word, and PowerPoint.
