General Ledger (GL) Accountant


Your responsibilities

  • Reconciliation Management: Execute daily, monthly, and yearly account reconciliations, resolving discrepancies promptly
  • Bank and Cash Reconciliation: Collaborate on new cash processing, perform detailed reconciliations, and address discrepancies
  • General Ledger Reporting: Maintain accuracy in journal entries, collaborate for proper coding, and ensure compliance with standards
  • Process Improvement: Assess and enhance reconciliation processes for efficiency, implementing internal control changes
  • Communication and Collaboration: Work with cross-functional teams to gather information and communicate reconciling items clearly
  • Adherence to Policies: Ensure strict compliance with company policies, accounting principles, and stay informed about relevant regulations

Our requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (or equivalent work experience)
  • Previous work experience in accounts reconciliation, general ledger or a similar finance role
  • Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices
  • Detail-oriented with excellent organizational and communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team
  • ERP experience required (preferably SAP)
  • Working proficiency in English
