Senior Financial Reporting Specialist


Your responsibilities

  • Preparation of consolidated and separate financial statements (under IFRS)
  • Preparation of periodic financial reports and ad hoc explanations for investors and executives, incl. the ability to provide comments/explanations to the numbers
  • Quality review of the inputs to the financial statements
  • Providing accounting and reporting guidelines to other team members, and cross-tem
  • Supporting local IFRS reporting in other company entities
  • Assistance in internal control procedures within the month/quarter close
  • Identifying and implementing process improvements to enhance the efficiency and accuracy of financial reporting
  • Closely cooperating with Accounting, Controlling and external auditors, on a regular basis and during the ad-hoc cross department projects

Our requirements

  • 4+ years of financial reporting experience gained in a similar position and/or in Big4 audit/consulting, with sensibility to internal controls
  • Thorough understanding of accounting principles, including hands-on experience with IFRS
  • University degree, preferably in accounting/finance or similar majors. Professional qualification might be an advantage
  • Fluent in English and Polish both written and spoken
  • Proficient in Excel
  • Analytical mindset, with an eye for detail and ability to drive conclusions based on data
  • Proactive approach to problem solving
  • Very good communication and organizational skills, efficient teamwork
  • Willingness to share knowledge and develop others

What we offer

  • This is a replacement role with a contract for 18 months.

A Senior Financial Reporting Specialist is a finance professional who plays an active role in gathering and consolidating financial data, preparing quarterly and annual financial statements. They ensure that the reports are accurate, complete and comply with accounting standards and regulatory requirements.
