What daily challenges are waiting for you?

TL;DR: You will be responsible for the budget and the revenue assigned to the In-game currency product category. You will manage and drive the growth ensuring a competitive and diverse product offering, excellent supplier relationships, and a keen understanding of market trends and customer needs. 

  • Category strategy development: Collect and analyse market trends, to understand the industry, consumer trends, and competitors’ activity to prepare an expansion strategy (from pricing and product point of view) and develop the product category to generate growth.

  • Product management and promotion: Ensure a diverse and competitive product offering that is aligned with the demand (stock diversity and attractive pricing). You will work closely with marketing teams and products suppliers to expand our offer as well as plan and execute marketing activities.

  • Performance monitoring: Track the performance against targets and prepare reports for your manager. You will highlight the opportunities and threats for improvements in sales, margin and market share.

  • Relationship management: You are the key point of contact with business partners. Your goal is to manage relationships with business partners that support you with the product inventory.

 

What you should have to be successful in this role?

  • Understanding how the gaming industry, in-game currency and related market dynamics work and following trends (must have). 

  • Proven experience in category management, product management, or a related field, preferably within the gaming industry.

  • Proven sales experience, showcasing your ability to drive revenue and foster client relationships.

  • Ability to develop and implement strategic plans that enhance category performance and merchant success.

  • Possessing strong organizational and project management skills, you effectively prioritize tasks, manage deadlines, and drive initiatives to successful completion.

  • Proficiency in data analysis and interpretation to drive informed decisions.

  • Ability to build and maintain positive relationships with merchants and other stakeholders.

  • Comfortable with occasional business trips, you embrace the opportunity to engage with clients and stakeholders face-to-face, driving business growth and fostering relationships.
