We are seeking a Team Leader for our Accounts Payable team based in Gdynia, Poland

Team Leader Accounts Payable will be responsible for leading team of specialists who support accounts payable processes and travel expense reimbursement for DNV employees. To succeed in this role, you will both act as an individual contributor and provide leadership, direction and prioritization to your team. You need people management skills, a customer centric mindset and the willingness to go the extra mile to contribute to the success of DNV. 

Team Leader Accounts Payable reports to Head of Section Accounts Payable. 

  In your role you will:  

Lead the team of 16 specialists including staff development, recruitment, setting goals, performance reviews and supervisory responsibilities  Monitoring and coaching team members in delivering the development tasks  Coordinate weekly and monthly operational activities, ensuring the right task split in the team and business continuity  Lead the day-to-day operation of the AP service delivery team, prioritizing work and optimizing resources to meet or exceed Service Level Agreement  Be responsible for monitoring the quality, compliance, efficiency, and effectiveness of the processes  Monitor and coach team members in delivering the development tasks  Establish and maintain a collaborative working relationship with Business Groups in Norway, Sweden, Denmark, Latvia, Lithuania, Estonia, Iceland, Faroe Islands and Finland and other stakeholders in GSS Finance or externally  Analyze regularly KPIs and create proper action plan to reach target levels  Manage day to day team’s issues, flag and mitigate them and manage escalations  Build and strengthen a strong internal culture based on company’s values Supports the Head of Section in strategy and decision making, cultivate a growth mindset and support Accounts Payable team development  Social events and team-building activities Supportive and caring culture Language Lessons Support Vouchers for Christmas and other occasions Life insurance Fruit & vegetables provided to the office twice a week

Experience in one or more of GSS Finance streams (min. 4 years)  Master’s degree in related fields (Accounting, Finance, Economics or Business Administration)  Managerial/supervisory experience is not required but can be an advantage  Understanding of financial processes in shared service environment  Ability to understand and translate business questions into analytics projects  An eye for innovation trends and digital solutions – proven implementation of new ideas or ways of working  Demonstrable experience in building and maintaining professional partnerships with internal (and external) stakeholders  Highly developed problem-solving skills including the ability to resolve issues impacting different interconnected systems  Proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel). Basic knowledge of Power Bi as an advantage
