We are building world-class Big Data platform which will give us the power to process streams of data and enable machine learning and advanced analytics capabilities. Everything cloud-based for scalability and speed to market.

What you will be doing

Ensure the performance, speed, and stability of real-time datasets as a Test Engineer. Develop comprehensive and top-notch test cases, incorporating both automation and performance testing. Collaborate closely with developers, analysts, and product owners to formulate accurate acceptance criteria. Engage in collaboration regarding technical strategies and contribute to finding solutions. Effectively communicate project goals and present testing results to stakeholders. Prepare data for consumption by Data Scientists, ensuring its quality and relevance. Contribute to the process of modeling machine learning algorithms by providing well-prepared data.

Who we are looking for

Expertise in Python and Automation Frameworks: Strong development skills in Python for test automation, including CI Builds, SQL Unit Testing, and ETL processes, using frameworks like Gatling and Rest-assured. Comprehensive Experience with SQL and NoSQL Databases: Proficient in testing complex data transformations with both SQL and NoSQL databases, ensuring accurate and reliable data processing. Knowledge of Cloud Solutions and Full SDLC: Experienced with cloud platforms for Big Data (AWS, Snowflake, Astronomer) and adept in the full Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), integrating testing into development processes. Agile Methodologies and Performance Testing: Familiar with Agile practices (Scrum, Kanban) and methodologies like TDD and BDD, with a focus on integration testing and capturing end-to-end system performance.
