Responsibilities

Mission:

Société Générale Global Solution Center Poland is a new, growing area of the SG Warsaw Branch, and we are currently looking for a Junior Business Intelligence Analyst with a skillset and passion for data analysis to help our team make informed decisions.

Within the Global Banking Technology and Operations (GBTO), the team is:

Providing a holistic view of the Business Units’ project portfolios to facilitate decision making at the right managerial level Optimizing the operational efficiency by fostering strategic decisions and optimizing the allocation of scarce resources Ensuring the visibility and transparency of data Being the keeper of the methods, processes, and PPM tools (Portfolio Project Management Life Cycle)

Tasks and responsibilities:

Conducting semi complex to complex data analysis and providing actionable insights Creating and maintaining dashboards and reports to track business performance Collaborating with business teams to better understand their data and analysis needs Ensuring the quality, accuracy, and consistency of data Developing and automating data processes and workflows Presenting complex information in a clear and concise manner

Profile required

Studies & experience:

At least 2+ years of experience in Business Intelligence or similar roles

Language skills:

Good command of English French and/or Polish would be an asset

Technical, operational & Soft skills:

Practical knowledge of BI Tools, , Power BI, Tableau, etc. Proficiency in MS Office Excel and managing macro data Experience with SQL and/or Python is a plus Basic understanding of database concepts and data modeling Excellent communication and presentation skills Ability to work in a team and manage multiple projects simultaneously Strong analytical skills with attention to detail
