About PayU PayU, a leading payment and Fintech company in 50+ high-growth markets throughout Asia, Central and Eastern Europe, Latin America, the Middle East and Africa, part of Prosus group, one of the largest technology investors in the world is redefining the way people buy and sell online for our + merchants and millions of consumers. As a leading online payment service provider, we deploy more than 400 payment methods and PCI-certified platforms to process approximately 6 million payments every single day.  About PayU PayU, a leading payment and Fintech company in 50+ high-growth markets throughout Asia, Central and Eastern Europe, Latin America, the Middle East and Africa, part of Prosus group, one of the largest technology investors in the world is redefining the way people buy and sell online for our + merchants and millions of consumers. As a leading online payment service provider, we deploy more than 400 payment methods and PCI-certified platforms to process approximately 6 million payments every single day. Purpose of the Role: Major task for this position shall be ongoing support to EMEA tax manager in various areas including:-Preparation of tax data to fulfil PayU’s obligations across the markets, including but not limited tax returns, reporting obligations among others,-First level of analytical review of tax returns prepared by tax compliance providers,-Coordination from operational perspective of tax compliance providers,-First level of tax technical internal support for the organization regarding various tax queries,-Tax controlling tasks, including preparation of tax manuals/instructions for accounting team, and -Maintenance of depository of tax documentation.Responsibilities and Key Activities: -Partnering with local teams and external advisors to ensure tax compliance on a local level (filing of tax returns, monitoring deadlines, preparing documentation for tax audits).-Support with tax accounting and reporting regarding Poland and countries in scope. In specific, perform tax computation of Effective Tax Rate, tax accounts reconciliation, deferred tax computation, and reconciliation of tax budgeted amounts v. actuals paid for Monthly End Close (forecast/realization and analysis of variances)-Preparation of tax forecast be paid or refunded based on Company budget.-Update monthly the summary of tax audits open / closed to be reported to Finance Leadership Team. -Provide advice on direct and indirect tax based on domestic legislation. -Support tax manager with relevant in analysis related to international tax matters, e.g. Double Tax Treaty, reverse charge mechanism, mandatory disclosure rules. -Preparation of local tax risk assessment for further view of tax manager and tax director. -Support regarding the implementation and updates of Tax Compliance controls and provide feedback to tax manager in the risk management system.-Prepare detail answer to Tax Authority queries and support relevant advisors. -Maintain documentation, process maps, and seek opportunities for tax process improvements. -Collecting and collating information for tax compliance, tax audits, transfer pricing analysis, correspondence with tax authorities, tax certificates, agreements etc)-Update of transfer pricing local files, coordination of TP preparation.Qualifications and Skills: -Undergraduate degree from a reputable University in Accounting or Finance.-Up to three (3) years of relevant tax experience as a tax practitioner in a reputable Organization (Company) / Big Four Firm (EY, KPMG, PwC or Deloitte).-Experience providing tax compliance assistance.-Technically strong and keen to develop further.-Excellent computer literacy and strong Microsoft Excel skills. -Excellent command of Polish and English languages, both verbal and written. -Team player attitude, a creative thinker and fast learner.-Strong communication and interpersonal skills. -Detail oriented and conscientious approach.-SAP experience is an advantage.Behavioral Competences:-Organized and resilient person with the right level of focus on details.-Ability to communicate effectively, both written and verbal. Readiness to learn, openness to new challenges.
