This role is part of Regional Controlling organization and is critical in ensuring compliance with US GAAP, statutory and tax
requirements in Germany and Austria.
The role requires understanding of complex accounting matters, quick problem-solving skills and strong collaboration with other 
finance and non-finance teams.

YOU WILL

  • Support the Controlling team in the execution of US GAAP, statutory and tax accounting.
  • Prepare financial statements and reports for entities under your purview, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, internal and external audit requirements, and local regulations.
  • Collaborate with finance and non-finance teams and external vendors to execute end-to-end financial processes.
  • Resolve complex accounting and tax issues.
  • Participate in local, regional and global projects as required.
  • Be an advocate for the finance function and focus on continuous process improvement.

YOU NEED

  • At least 5 years of relevant work experience, ideally in a multinational environment or in audit.
  • Strong knowledge of US GAAP, local GAAP and tax issues.
  • Master's degree in Finance/Accounting or ACA/ACCA/CIMA qualification.
  • Excellent communication skills with a diplomatic and flexible attitude.
  • Fluency in English, both written and spoken (German desirable).
  • Strong MS Excel, Word and PowerPoint skills.
  • Experience with JDE, Blackline and W-Desk is an advantage.
  • Ability and willingness to travel internationally as required.
  • Availability to work extra hours at critical times such as month end and occasional holidays.
