Job Title:  Group Demand Planner

Location: This role can be based at any of our Finsbury Food Group sites in the UK

Work Days:  Monday to Friday

Contract:  Permanent

Job Purpose

Forecasting the demand for FFG group, to ensure be produced and delivered effectively to the satisfaction of customers. Supported by maintenance of the statistical forecast. 

Role Key Accountabilities

Develop demand forecast at multiple levels of aggregation Review historical sales trends, research demand drivers, prepare forecast data, develop stat forecast models and evaluate forecast results. Measure and Monitor Demand forecast accuracy, work with commercial to drive forecast improvements. Co-ordinate cross functional research to refine & reconcile forecast based on other external influences. Forge deep-rooted internal and external relationships to understand forecast drivers. Use & maintain Optimity our Demand Planning/IBP software. Work as part of a wider end to end Supply chain team Embrace the S&OP process by providing unconstrained demand plan considering R&Os in collaboration with cross functional virtual team. Manage monthly forecast ‘surgeries’ as part of the S&OP demand review. Be commercially & financially aware

Knowledge, Skills and Experience

Experience in Demand Planning Strong Communication High Attention to detail Highly numerate Forecast software tool experience Ability to display awareness & responsiveness to changing conditions in business environment
