Process Optimization Expert for HVDC Digital R&D

We are seeking a seasoned Senior R&D Engineer – Process Coordinator to join our esteemed team at Hitachi Energy Services. In this pivotal role, you will play a crucial part in ensuring seamless process alignment with organizational objectives and project timelines.
Beyond the realm of day-to-day tasks, your responsibilities will encompass:
- Coordinating Processes: Oversee processes within HVDC Digital R&D, guaranteeing synergy with internal and external quality standards.
- Documentation Mastery: Document processes diligently, supporting Process Owners (PO) and Process Leaders (PL) in creating new processes.
- Supporting Process Forums and Reviews: Collaborate closely with POs and PLs in Process Forums, Yearly Reviews, SWOT creation, and KPI analysis.
- Quality Assurance: Ensure compliance with internal and external quality standards, fostering an environment conducive to audits and continuous improvement.
- Inter-Unit Collaboration: Cooperate with fellow Process Coordinators from other units, driving process efficiency and quality assurance.
- Continuous Improvement: Support the alignment of process and method practices with global product groups, continually enhancing change management materials and training/coaching resources.
Forecasted Responsibilities: You will be expected to:
- Develop and Maintain Tools: Create and refine tools and metrics (KPIs) to monitor process performance, quality benchmarks, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Present Progress Reports: Prepare and present progress reports, metrics, and analyses to stakeholders and management.
- Bottleneck Identification: Identify bottlenecks and propose actionable solutions to ensure timely milestone delivery.
- Process Development and Implementation: Support the development, implementation, and optimization of processes, best practices, and quality standards across R&D processes.
- Auditing and Quality Reviews: Conduct quality reviews on process documentation and internal Digital R&D audits.
- Innovation and Improvement Opportunities: Identify opportunities for innovation and suggest new processes.
- Enhancing Efficiency and Quality: Drive initiatives to enhance both process efficiency and quality assurance.
- Data Visualization: Create Power BI dashboards to showcase Process KPI statistics.
- QIP Initiatives: Drive, facilitate, coordinate, and work on Quality Improvement Plan (QIP) initiatives.
- Yellow/Green/Black Belt Projects: Drive Yellow/Green/Black Belt projects.
Your Background:
- Experience and Education: Possess 3+ years of experience and a degree in Engineering, Business Administration, Project Management, or a related field.
- Technical Proficiency: Proven experience in creating, coordinating, or managing processes within a technical environment, preferably in R&D.
- Soft Skills: Excel in organizational and multitasking skills, with excellent interpersonal and communication skills to engage with cross-functional teams, Process Owners, and Process Leaders.
- Project Management Knowledge: Possess basic knowledge of project management methodologies and tools (e.g., Agile, Scrum, Azure DevOps, etc.).
About Our Offer:
We provide an estimated salary range of $120,000 - $180,000 per annum, reflecting the market average based on your background and location.
