Chain IQ and our team in Wroclaw are looking for a Sourcing Senior Consultant in IT.

Role Purpose

The primary purpose of the function is to deliver value-add sourcing services to Clients, in a structured, professional and consistent manner. The scope of the role relates to the indirect spend of clients across the categories of IT

Main responsibilities will include:

Managing the daily activities within the procurement process, serving as the primary interface with business owners and supplier representatives Establish and maintain strong relationships with internal, client and supplier stakeholders Execute tactical sourcing projects using the client and internal systems and complying with client’s policies and procedures Lead, prepare and execute the RF(x) processes and e-auctions, creating and managing sourcing events in e-sourcing tool Support analysis of proposals and producing recommendations Conduct market tenders and managing the evaluation across cross-functional teams to determine selected suppliers Negotiate deals to achieve optimal commercial, specification, compliance and contractual outcomes Drafting contracts based on the client standard terms and conditions and negotiating the contractual clauses to ensure compliance with the client's requirements Performing spend analysis to proactively identify savings opportunities Forecasting and reporting savings Identify ways to improve related business-as-usual processes Day-to-day operational process management and support of relevant operational and P2P processes to ensure accurate and timely ordering and receipt of goods and services Ensuring the functional KPI's, SLA's and other performance objectives are met

Requirements

University degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, Supply Chain Management or equal (bachelor’s degree) Good understanding of Sourcing Operations and Tactical Buying processes and best practices Minimum 5+ years of progressive experience in indirect procurement and 2+ years in specific category of IT in an international (corporate) environment. Experience in other indirect categories (HR, Real Estate, Professional Services) would be a plus Specific know-how in Sourcing of IT services. Understanding of typical risks and contractual mitigation/management of such projects. Strong project management experience Ready to interact with stakeholders from all organizational levels Excellent interpersonal, communication and negotiation skills Good problem-solving, relationship management and influencing skills with a strong customer-service orientation Hands-on approach and proactiveness High attention to details Experience in working with market leading sourcing tools/systems Excellent English (native, C1 or equivalent) written and verbal communication skills
