The role involves supporting BI global business partners in the EMEA Region with their tax declaration obligations, encompassing CIT, WHT, VAT, Tax Accounting, and related issues within specific country responsibilities. Acting as a liaison between various entities within Global Business Services and Corporate Tax, the position involves gathering, reconciling, and validating data necessary for tax filings. Additionally, the role entails preparing tax declarations for BI entities across multiple countries, including advance returns and recapitulative statements.

 

YOU WILL:

  • Collecting data from diverse sources for CIT, WHT, VAT, Tax Accounting, etc., ensuring its completeness and accuracy.
  • Reconciling and validating gathered data to meet tax reporting requirements.
  • Coordinating tax-related change activities and postings in alignment with business service operations.
  • Ensuring the timely and accurate preparation of tax returns and fiscal reports for subsidiaries in various countries, including data evaluation, solution design, corrective actions, and documentation.
  • Collaborating closely with internal and external stakeholders, including Corporate Tax, GBS, and global functions, to address specific queries, requirements, and issues within the designated country responsibilities.

 

YOU NEED:

  • Proficiency in MS Office, especially MS Excel, and SAP-FI/SAP S/4 HANA systems.
  • Strong communication and intercultural skills.
  • Capability to handle complex topics effectively.
  • Ideally, a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, Taxation, Law, or related fields.
  • A team-oriented approach with excellent analytical, interpersonal, and negotiation abilities, coupled with a proactive and independent work ethic.
  • Fluent in English
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in a tax consulting firm or similar role in an internationally operating company, preferably within a shared service environment
  • Practical expertise in financial and tax accounting, specifically in CIT, WHT, VAT, and Tax Accounting
  • Ability to adapt to evolving guidelines
