Our client, a provider of IT infrastructure solutions, is looking for a Chief Technology Officer.

Location: Europe
Type: Remote, full-time
Start date: ASAP
About the Company:

The company was founded in 2002 and has grown into a group of companies closely involved with information technology. It is now one of the market leaders in providing solutions for dedicated servers, CDN, colocation, and cloud servers. Their clients include international high-load projects such as VOD cinemas, Ad/CPA networks, FinTech, SaaS, and file-sharing service providers. The company has 21 points of presence worldwide in the USA, Europe, and Asia.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Planning IT infrastructure and optimizing the company's technology development strategy within the framework of global strategy and development plans
  • Developing, implementing, and optimizing IT infrastructure and information security systems
  • Ensuring the security, reliability, availability, and performance of the companys IT infrastructure
  • Planning and implementing IT projects, including migrations, integrations, deployments, audits, and assessments
  • Implementing strategies to optimize the operation of data centers, taking into account the companys needs and energy efficiency standards
  • Ensuring comprehensive management of the architecture of solutions provided to clients
  • Developing and implementing IT policies, procedures, and standards for IT infrastructure
  • Planning and managing budgets
  • Building effective teamwork, partnerships, and cross-divisional interaction with other teams
  • Researching market trends in technology, infrastructure solutions, and implementing them into the technology development strategy

Requirements:

  • At least 5 years of similar work experience in IT service companies
  • Deep technical expertise in optimizing IT infrastructure and data center operations, understanding of network architecture, principles of server operation, databases, and other hosting infrastructure systems
  • Deep knowledge of project management and strategic planning
  • Higher technical education is mandatory
  • Basic administration of Linux, MacOS, Windows
  • Management skills and the ability to analyze team performance
  • Excellent communication skills, ability to effectively interact with stakeholders at all levels
  • English proficiency at upper-intermediate level or higher
