For our Client, a global manufacturing company, we are looking for candidates for the position of  Head of Supply Planning who will be responsible for European Countries.

  • develops, leads and improves the cross-functional global operational process for supply planning,
  • scenario planning of operational plans to meet product demand, production capacity, schedules, inventory,
  • develops the raw materials requirement plan, inventory policy and operational schedules,
  • continuous improvement activities within the supply planning field and implement innovative concepts, solutions and technologies that enable best-in-class supply planning,
  • maintains supply chain metrics for supply operations, reviews trends and determines root cause and corrective action plans to drive continuous improvement,
  • develops conceptual supply planning concepts in collaboration with senior key stakeholders and functional partners.
  • analyzes data and trends, determines factors that affect prices and determines the lowest cost consistent with quality and reliability,
  • collaboration with other teams: Demand Planning, FP&A, Operations, Logistics and Finance.
  • implementation of innovative supply planning tools,
  • works collaboratively with a wide range of stakeholders to ensure high engagement and adherence to the Global Supply Chain process.
  • bachelor's degree in supply chain, statistical analysis, engineering or similar,
  • minimum 10 years of supply chain planning experience in international and matrix environments,
  • excellent hands-on product supply planning experience in a multiple-plant manufacturing environment,
  • advanced knowledge and understanding of advanced planning systems, ERP systems and analytical tools,
  • excellent Microsoft Office skills in Excel and PowerPoint,
  • understanding of the principles of Lean and Six Sigma applied to Supply Chain,
  • demonstrate strategic thinking in leading and developing the supply planning process,
  • effective communicator with strong collaboration skills across functional, geographical and cultural boundaries,
  • readiness to regular business travel up to 40% of time.
