Would you like to monitor, inspect and propose measures to manage and improve Sanctions processes’ quality in Nordea Group Financial Crime Prevention? We are now looking for a GFCP (Senior) Expert to implement, develop and maintain quality management activities.

About this opportunity

Welcome to the Sanctions Quality Management team. We add value by evaluating, managing and improving quality of deliveries to assure being compliant and secure stakeholders’ satisfaction. GFCP Expert or GFCP Senior Expert (depending on your experience) you’ll play a valuable role in ensuring that Sanctions-related processes’ quality is managed, evaluated and continuously improved as well as consistent with applicable regulations, policies and procedures.

We are passionate, professional and focused on doing the right thing. You will be part of a team interacting with stakeholders based across the Nordics, Poland & Estonia.

What you’ll be doing:

Executing activities based on Quality Management plan Performing Quality Control on Sanctions-related process deliverables Providing feedback and support to stakeholders regarding quality challenges and potential improvements Supporting Leadership Team in designing and performing mitigating actions with regular follow-up on the progress and their effectiveness Performing and facilitating root cause analysis associated with Quality Control results


You are ideally located in Poland (Lodz, Warsaw, Gdansk), Estonia (Tallinn) or Finland (Helsinki), Sweden (Stockholm)

Your background will include:

Strong analytical skills & structured problem solving Experience planning & executing complex tasks independently & as part of a team Working in a complex & international environment & presenting to senior stakeholders At least intermediate skills in Microsoft Office applications including but not limited to: Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook Strong English language communication skills (spoken & written) Developing your own capability, prioritizing and exercising sound judgement Bachelor’s Degree or significant equivalent experience

Your background including the following would be advantageous:

Experience in Quality Management Process knowledge of Sanctions-related processes Experience in a regulated environment with a need for high explainability Experience in making risk-based quantitative and/or qualitative decisions  Experience analysing risks & control points International Compliance Association (ICA) Certification (sanctions focused) or Association of Certified Sanctions Specialists (ACSS) Certification or a relevant Master’s Degree
