Senior HSE Data & Reporting Specialist

As a  Senior HSE Data & Reporting Specialist, you will manage and analyze HSE-related data within Alcon’s Global HSE systems.

In this role, a typical day will include:

• Validate internal reporting of HSE indicators & projects, ensuring data are accurate, complete, and current in the HSE Systems

• Support and develop principles of data documentation and governance,

• Lead the consolidation, interpretation, and preparation of HSE data for strategic internal and external reporting (e.g., Swiss NFM, DJSI, CSRD, CDP)

• Actively participate in and manage key segments of projects, demonstrating strong project management and leadership abilities to drive initiatives that align with Alcon’s HSE objectives and compliance requirements

• Calculate and Manage Scope 3 GHG Emission Inventory on an annual basis

• Manage data collection required to conduct life cycle assessments of Alcon’s products

• Participate and support data assurance audits required for ESG external reports

• Manage tender bid requests for HSE-related information and identify trends to inform our HSE strategies and initiatives

WHAT YOU’LL BRING TO ALCON:

Bachelor’s degree required with focus on a health, safety, environmental related field or related experience. Fluency in English. Work experience of 3-5 years in health, safety and environmental area. General understanding of health, safety, and environmental data and GHG accounting standards. Microsoft Office suite (i.e., Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio), Tableau nice to have. Skilled in the use of databases and data analysis tools. Ability to analyze and interpret complex data sets to derive actionable insights. Cross functional collaboration. Project management experience. Ability to work independently.
