JOB DESCRIPTION

What You Will Do:

Accounting and Controls:

Support on accuracy and timeliness of monthly, quarterly and yearly accounts using SAP and reporting in accordance with US-GAAP and Swiss statutory requirements of Ecolab Europe, the headquarters of Ecolab’s operations in Europe with sales of approx. $ 3 billion Close collaboration with GBS and other COE’s and functions (. Supply Chain, HR) Support on coding, payments, reconciliations, and resolving issues Monitor recurring manual journal entries (. pension accruals, consulting accruals, cost center reclassifications, Act as liaison for internal and external audits, preparing back-up documentation and proactively following up on requests Lead/Support financial projects

Taxes

Calculation and recording of income, capital and deferred taxes on a quarterly basis Prepare and follow up on withholding tax reimbursement requests Timely and accurate preparation and submission of all corporate Tax reports (. quarterly Tax Forecast, detailed YE tax reporting, incl. follow-up on related issues Support tax audits

Treasury

Preparation of monthly USD and GBP forecast incl. submission to Corp. Treasury for hedging purposes

What You Will Need:

3 - 7 years’ experience in international accounting, finance, and/or tax, ideally with large MNE or “big 4 audit” companies Solid analytical and communication skills Ability to organize, work efficiently, and meet deadlines Ability to work independently and as part of a team Proficiency with Excel and SAP Positive, open-minded, and proactive attitude Good English written and verbal skills. German skills would be an advantage.
