Description Overview

Perrigo are bringing an exciting new proposition to the Warsaw market and we would love to hear from Finance professionals with Shared Service Centre experience. Help us lay the foundations of our new Business Services Centre based in Mokotów. We currently offer a hybrid working pattern with 3 days in the office and 2 days working remotely.

Scope of the Role
  • Responsible for providing quality service to stakeholders, ensuring financially correct accounting statements and reporting, intercompany reconciliations, internal and SOX controls – meeting the SLA targets set for the Team
  • Responsible for adopting standard processes and pursuing efficiencies within the team and area of responsibility
  • Responsible for daily management of Team resources, also supports the R2R Tower Lead in team development, career planning and recruitment of employees.
  • Ensure accurate financial reporting and accounting compliance
  • Maintain internal and SOX controls for data integrity and regulatory adherence
  • Drive process standardization and efficiency within the team
  • Collaborate with auditors, consolidation teams, and stakeholders, and support team development and recruitment
Experience Required
  • An advanced experience in a Shared Services environment, of which at least some as a GL Team Lead
  • Master's or Bachelor Degree in Finance, Controlling or Accounting
  • Chartered Accountant certification and US GAAP experience is a plus
  • SAP Finance experience
  • Experience leading teams (5+ employees) and growing their talent
  • Knowledge of Finance in general and General Ledger in particular
  • Practical experience managing operations' performance (SLAs, KPIs)
  • Hands-on experience of Shared Services transition a plus
  • Fluent in English, Polish and Italian/Spanish would be nice to have
  • Practical knowledge of internal controls (SOX) a plus
  • Availability to travel during the Transition phase - and then occasionally
