Summary:
We are looking for a Product Pricing Manager to be part of our exciting journey in Poland. This person will have the opportunity to join our expanding operation and play a key role in positioning ourselves correctly in the market.
Responsibilities will include developing competitive pricing models, supporting product positioning in the market, and ensuring profitability through effective pricing policies.
The Product Pricing Manager will collaborate closely with sales, marketing, and finance teams, as well as with the dealer network, to ensure alignment with overall business objectives at the importer level.
Key Accountabilities:
- Pricing Strategy Development: Create and implement competitive pricing strategies for two automotive brands, aligned with market demands and corporate goals.
- Market and Competitor Analysis: Conduct regular market research and competitor analysis to ensure pricing strategies remain competitive and profitable.
- Profitability Management: Monitor product profitability, adjust pricing structures when necessary, and ensure the achievement of revenue and margin targets.
- Product Positioning Support: Collaborate with sales and marketing teams to align pricing with brand positioning and market segmentation strategies.
- Pricing Process Optimization: Develop and manage pricing processes, ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and compliance with internal guidelines.
- Dealer Network Collaboration: Provide pricing support and guidance to the dealer network, ensuring consistency in pricing practices across markets.
- Reporting and KPI Tracking: Analyse pricing performance metrics, prepare reports, and provide recommendations based on data-driven insights.
- Cross-Functional Cooperation: Work with finance, sales, marketing, and supply chain teams to optimize pricing strategies and ensure operational alignment.
- Lifecycle Pricing Management: Manage pricing throughout the product lifecycle, from launch to end-of-life, adjusting strategies based on market trends and product performance.
- Support for Forecasting and Planning: Collaborate with planning teams to ensure accurate sales forecasts and inventory management through effective pricing strategies.
Key Skills/Requirements:
- Experience: Minimum 3 years of experience in product pricing, revenue management, or a related role within the automotive industry or a comparable sector.
- Industry Knowledge: Understanding of the automotive market, pricing strategies, and product lifecycle management.
- Analytical Skills: Strong analytical capabilities with experience in pricing tools and financial modelling.
- Business Acumen: Deep understanding of market dynamics, customer behaviour, and profitability drivers.
- CRM and Data Management: Experience with CRM systems and data management tools to support pricing decisions.
- Language Skills: Fluent English (C1 level) in both spoken and written form.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Ability to work effectively with multiple departments and external partners, including dealer networks.
- Project Management: Proficiency in managing multiple projects simultaneously with strong organizational skills.
- Adaptability: Ability to adapt pricing strategies in response to changing market conditions and competitive landscapes.
