Who You Are

We are seeking an experienced ServiceNow Developer with a strong focus on Domain Separation within a TPSM (Third-Party Service Management) instance.

The ideal candidate will possess in-depth knowledge of:

  1. ServiceNow platform development, with a specific emphasis on implementing and managing domain separation.
  2. Ensuring secure, multi-tenant functionality across distinct business units.
  3. Developing, configuring, and supporting ServiceNow applications, workflows, and integrations while ensuring the integrity of data isolation and segregation in a TPSM environment.
What You Will DoDomain Separation Improvement and Maintenance
  1. Review and recommend improvements to the domain separation solution within the ServiceNow platform, ensuring secure data and process separation across multiple domains.
  2. Work with business stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into domain separation models for different business units.
  3. Ensure that all business units have appropriate access and visibility to ServiceNow instances while keeping data isolated as per business needs.
ServiceNow Development
  1. Develop and customize ServiceNow applications, including creating custom workflows, business rules, scripts, and user interfaces.
  2. Collaborate with other developers, architects, and administrators to ensure seamless integration and customization of ServiceNow solutions.
  3. Develop solutions to meet the unique requirements of a TPSM instance, ensuring that third-party management workflows, approvals, and escalations align with domain separation best practices.
Configuration and Customization
  1. Configure ServiceNow to meet the specific needs of TPSM and domain-specific requirements.
  2. Work with business process owners to create and maintain configurations, including domain-specific views, notifications, data sources, and service catalog items.
  3. Assist in setting up and maintaining domain-specific role-based access controls (RBAC), ensuring the right level of access and data visibility across domains.
Collaboration and Support
  1. Provide ongoing technical support, troubleshooting, and resolution of issues related to domain separation, ensuring minimal disruption to business operations.
  2. Collaborate with system administrators, project managers, and other stakeholders to ensure the correct configuration of domain-specific requirements and data management.
  3. Help in the migration and deployment of domain separation configurations in both development and production environments.
  4. Work with Clients, Internal Onboarding Specialists and Project Managers to implement configurations for clients within the TPSM instance.
  5. Leverage API, Email Inbound Actions and other Integration Hub Spokes, to achieve system integrations with Active Directory, LDAP, ConnectWise, NCentral, DocuSign, Qualys, JIRA, Rally and others as needed.
Performance Optimization
  1. Monitor and optimize ServiceNow platform performance to ensure the system meets the needs of all domains, with a focus on scalability, availability, and security.
  2. Troubleshoot performance issues related to domain separation and TPSM instances, identifying areas for improvement.
Documentation & Training
  1. Document the domain separation configurations, workflows, and processes for future reference and knowledge transfer.
  2. Provide training and guidance to end users and other team members on domain-specific configurations and features.
Qualifications

Minimum of 3 years of experience as a ServiceNow Developer with strong knowledge of domain separation on ServiceNow, preferably in a TPSM instance.

Experience in designing, implementing, and managing domain separation models in ServiceNow.

Proven track record in developing and customizing ServiceNow applications, workflows, and business rules.

Skills & Knowledge
  1. Proficiency in ServiceNow platform features, including ServiceNow Studio, Business Rules, Script Includes, Workflows, Scheduled Jobs, Service Catalog, Service Portal, and Notifications.
  2. Strong understanding of ServiceNow domain separation concepts, including data partitioning, user roles, security, and multi-tenant configurations.
  3. Familiarity with TPSM (Third-Party Service Management) processes, configurations, and workflows.
  4. Experience with Role-Based Access Control (RBAC), Access Control Lists (ACLs), and data security measures in a multi-domain ServiceNow environment.
Certifications
  1. ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA) is required.
  2. ServiceNow Certified Application Developer (CAD) is a plus.
  3. ServiceNow Certified Implementation Specialist in relevant modules (e.g., ITSM, TPSM) is a plus.
Preferred Qualifications
  1. Experience with multi-instance configurations in a domain-separated environment.
  2. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple competing priorities.
  3. Strong communication skills with the ability to work collaboratively in a team and interact with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  4. Strong understanding and practical experience implementing ITIL best practices and following structured Change Management Processes.
  5. Experience with Agile development methodologies.
