In this role, you will work in a hybrid model, with the flexibility of remote work combined with regular collaboration at our office located in Wrocław, ul. Grodzka 9 (working from the office once a week). Responsibilities
  • Set up and maintain Windows Server environments, including configuring Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and Group Policies, ensuring systems are secure, optimized, and compliant with organizational standards.
  • Diagnose and resolve complex technical problems related to Windows Server and virtualization platforms (such as Hyper-V and VMware), including performance tuning, system optimization, and root cause analysis.
  • Administer Exchange Online, Intune, and Microsoft Defender for Office 365, ensuring proper configuration, security enforcement, and continuous monitoring for threats or compliance issues.
  • Create clear technical documentation (designs, implementation plans, troubleshooting guides) and communicate effectively with team members, leadership, and external partners—ideally in German or English.
  • On-call duty must be performed (1x per month for one week, additional compensation will be paid).
What you bring with you
  • Essential: Expertise in Microsoft Windows Server: Strong knowledge and experience in deploying, configuring, and managing Microsoft Windows Server environments, including Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and Group Policy.
  • Essential: Proficiency in Microsoft Azure: experience with Azure services, such as Azure Virtual Machines, Azure Active Directory (Entra ID), Azure Networking, Azure Storage, and Azure Resource Manager.
  • Essential: Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills: Ability to diagnose and resolve complex technical issues related to Microsoft products and infrastructure, including performance optimization and system tuning.
  • Essential: Experience with virtualization technologies: Knowledge of virtualization platforms like Hyper-V and VMware, including virtual machine management, high availability, and disaster recovery. Knowledge of backup and recovery solutions like Veeam, including configuration, administration, and monitoring.
  • Essential: Knowledge of Microsoft 365: Exchange Online, Endpoint Management (Intune), Microsoft Defender for Office 365.
  • Essential: Strong documentation and communication skills: Ability to create clear and concise technical documentation, including design documents, implementation guides, and operational procedures. Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively interact with team members and stakeholders (German or English).
  • Good to have: Experience with Microsoft SQL Server: implement, and administer Microsoft SQL Server databases, including installation, configuration, backup and recovery, performance tuning, and security.
  • Good to have: Proficient in PowerShell scripting: Strong scripting skills using PowerShell to automate routine tasks, configuration management, and system administration tasks in a Microsoft environment.
  • Good to have: Networking and Security: In-depth understanding of networking concepts, TCP/IP protocols, firewall configurations, VPN, and security best practices within Microsoft environments (preferably with Fortinet).
  • Good to have: Knowledge of Microsoft 365: Familiarity with Office 365 suite and services, including SharePoint Online, OneDrive for Business, and Teams.
