Job Description

Network Automation Architect is responsible for automation process definition and standardization, provides new solutions to replace manual approach with a goal of deployment time and cost reduction for network activities on the projects ran by the Network Services Delivery Centre NSDC.

How You Will Contribute And What You Will Learn
  • Ensure that automation applied to projects follows internal standards with regards to currently used tools, libraries and techniques
  • Attend customer discussions or workshops to analyze customers' technical & business needs to define automation requirements, establish automation plans and priorities
  • Lead Automation Stream in the projects as defined in delivery models
  • Creation of new tools/libraries and standardize them
  • Creation of documentation of automation tools
  • Integration of existing automation tools into new automation process if reasonable
  • Support & mentor IP engineers working on automation during project capability build
  • Responsible for improvement initiatives, issues handling, technical knowledge sharing
  • Produce customer project related technical documentation and presentations if needed
  • Experiments with new automation technologies, frameworks, libraries to assess usability for projects run by NDSC
Key Skills And Experience

You have:
  • Minimum of 10 years of relevant telecom experience in the field of service provider IP/MPLS solutions
  • Advanced Networking Knowledge: Proficiency in CSP and enterprise network solutions, - routing and switching, MPLS, Segment Routing, network services, BNG, SecGW, CGNAT
  • Hands-on in configuring network equipment, Nokia, Cisco, Juniper
  • Strong Python working experience, able to write tools to cover automation area
  • Ability to translate algorithms into a code
  • Understanding DevOps approach and tools
  • Hands-on with GIT repositories
  • Familiarity with self-testing code approach
  • Working experience with virtualization technologies – containers and VMs
