Description Overview

The Quality Assurance Junior Associate will supervise the turnover of controlled products in the pharmaceutical wholesaler in accordance with applicable legal requirements and participate in local responsibility for processes related to quality assurance described in the GDP, Pharmaceutical Law as well as Perrigo corporate procedures.

Scope of the Role

As Responsible Person for Controlled Products:

  • Supervise the turnover of controlled products (medicinal products containing psychotropic substances and intoxicants)
  • Accept deliveries and distribute products containing controlled products
  • Keep records of turnover of controlled products and fulfill reporting obligations
  • Develop procedures and instructions related to controlled products
  • Participate in suspension and withdrawal of controlled products
  • Control maintaining the proper technical and sanitary state of the pharmaceutical wholesaler's premises
  • Qualify suppliers and recipients
  • Dispose of narcotic drugs and psychotropic substances at the place of destruction.
  • Respond to queries (both internal and external) related to controlled products.
  • Be primary contact for HA for any topics related to controlled products.

As QA Associate:

  • Maintain and improve the Quality Management System and Documentation at designated area in all departments of Perrigo Poland & Baltics under the supervision of QA Manager/QA Head
  • Create, review, and keep up-to-date controlled documents including SOPs as agreed with Quality Assurance Manager/QA Head
  • Support Wholesale Manager during supervision and implementation of Good Distribution Practices at the pharmaceutical wholesale
  • Verify transport conditions performed by transport providers
  • Participate in suspension and withdrawal of products from the market
  • Control maintenance of proper technical and sanitary state at the pharmaceutical wholesale
  • Support qualifications of suppliers and recipients
  • Initiate investigations and closure of related deviations, non-conformances, and CAPAs under supervision of Quality Assurance Manager
  • Manage quality complaints processing, recall of non-conforming materials, investigations associated with product complaints, and product deviation reports for selected product groups
  • Assist in executing local process for product reworks & relabeling according to company's SOPs
  • Participate in internal or external quality audits if needed and support internal/corporate and external/health authority quality and GDP audits and inspections as needed
  • Organize internal QA trainings for company and 3PL employees
  • Create and send reports to ZSMOPL
Experience Required
  • Master in Pharmacy, valid pharmaceutical license
  • Very good command of English
  • At least 2 years of work experience at pharmaceutical wholesale or pharmacy

Nice to Have:

  • Previous experience as QA Associate or Responsible Person for controlled products
  • Good knowledge of Pharmaceutical law and GDP requirements
