QA/QC Technician - Whitlock Plant - Brunswick, GA

Mission

Reeves Construction Company is currently seeking an experienced QA/QC Technician for an asphalt plant in Savannah, GA. The successful candidate for this position will have an uncompromising focus on safety excellence.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Is responsible for promoting, leading and monitoring the Quality, Health, Safety and Environment approach in line with the Group's primary value, Safety, and related policies.

Education and Experience
  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED); 2 years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combinations of education and experience.
  • Level 1 Georgia D.O.T preferred.
Required Skills, Qualifications & Competencies
  • To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.
  • Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or D.O.T. specifications. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals.
  • Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume.
  • Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.

The employee frequently is required to stand and walk. The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 60 pounds.
