About the role:The Business Development Manager for New Solutions will play a critical role in introducing and driving the success of our innovative technology in the advanced wound care therapeutic area. The role holder will work cross-functionally with various teams to ensure seamless execution of both commercial and scientific strategies.
Your key duties and responsibilities:Sales & Account Management- Achieve commercial objectives and KPIs in alignment with local leadership and the global strategy.
- Identify, develop, and manage key accounts to secure short-term and long-term revenue.
- Collaborate with the Sales Force Excellence (SFE) team to shape account segmentation, targeting, and pipeline management.
- Ensure CRM systems are updated with all activities and opportunities.
- Partner with the Medical Science Liaison (MSL) to support clinical evidence generation.
- Collaborate with the Market Access team to identify reimbursement and market entry pathways for the technology.
- Work with global and local marketing teams to contribute to the development and execution of campaigns.
- Build and maintain a network of local Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs) and healthcare professionals.
- Engage KOLs through educational events and scientific discussions.
- Drive the execution of local market strategies, adapting global initiatives to local needs.
- Lead efforts in shaping the local reimbursement and tender landscape.
- Represent the company at scientific events and conferences.
- Bachelor's or equivalent degree required, preferably in life sciences, medicine, or related discipline.
- 5+ years in commercial roles, focusing on pharmaceuticals, biotech, or medtech.
- Proven track record of engaging with KOLs and senior stakeholders.
- In-depth understanding of the therapeutic area (e.g., infection management, wound care, diabetes).
- Strong knowledge of market dynamics and reimbursement processes.
- Strong commercial mindset with the ability to balance scientific credibility with business objectives.
- Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to present complex information effectively.
Ability to travel 50-75% of the time, including participation in face-to-face meetings and scientific events.
