Scope of duties:

As SSC Operational Excellence Manager your role will be improving processes within the SSC organization to enhance efficiency, productivity and effectiveness. You will play a critical role in optimizing processes owned by SSC organization, enhancing productivity and driving operational excellence within Flint Group.

  1. Process analysis: Analyzing existing processes to identify areas of improvement, inefficiencies and bottlenecks. This involves gathering data, observing workflows and conducting interviews with staff.
  2. Process improvement strategies: Collaborating with cross-functional teams to develop and implement process improvement strategies for administrative functions. This may involve redesigning workflows, implementing new technologies or introducing best practices.
  3. Standardization and documentation: Developing and implementing standardized procedures, policies and guidelines. Creating process documentation, including standard operating procedures (SOPs), work instructions and templates to ensure consistency and clarity.
  4. Training and development: Providing training and coaching to staff on new processes, procedures and tools. Ensuring that employees understand and adhere to the improved administrative processes to maximize efficiency and effectiveness.
  5. Performance monitoring: Establishing key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the effectiveness of processes. Regularly monitoring and analyzing data to identify trends, track progress and make data-driven decisions.
  6. Technology implementation: Identifying and implementing technology solutions to automate and streamline processes. This may involve evaluating and selecting software applications, overseeing implementation and providing training & support to users.
  7. Change management: Leading and managing change initiatives related to processes. This includes communicating changes to stakeholders, addressing concerns and ensuring smooth transition & adoption of new processes.
  8. Stakeholder management: Collaborating with various stakeholders, including department heads, executives and administrative staff, to gain buy-in and support for process improvement initiatives. Building strong relationships and effectively communicating the benefits and impact of proposed changes.
  9. Risk assessment and mitigation: Identifying potential risks and challenges associated with process improvements. Developing mitigation strategies to minimize disruptions and ensure smooth implementation.
  10. Continuous improvement: Promoting a culture of continuous improvement within the SSC function. Encouraging feedback, soliciting suggestions and fostering innovation to identify new opportunities for process optimization and implement changes as needed.
What we want:
  1. Minimum 4 years of experience in similar role in other similar size SSCs or COEs with proven track record
  2. Process Guru with great project management and change management skills
  3. Tech-savvy and passionate about efficiency improvement through standardization and digitalization solutions
  4. Can-do hands-on attitude
  5. Certification and experience in use of Lean & Agile methodologies and tools
  6. Mandatory fluency in spoken and written English
  7. Ability to use the SAP system
  8. Computer literate (Excel, Word, Lotus Notes, etc.)
  9. Very good work organization and customer relationship building skills
  10. Very good communication skills including stakeholder management and the ability to work in a team
  11. Ability to effectively manage time and prioritize tasks
  12. Independence in acting and making decisions in the assigned area of authority
  13. Ability to think analytically and easily absorb new knowledge
