Part of the Supply Chain family, Procurement is responsible for over 30B Euro of material and services spend globally with more than 60,000 suppliers. Getting the right services and materials, sustainably sourced and ensuring responsible procurement is critical to ensuring our brands with purpose grow. WHAT WILL YOUR MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES BE:

• Deliver Procurement Key Performance Indicators such as Value Improvement Programs, Innovation Delivery, Payment Terms Extension, Cost Target, Gross Margin Improvement, Traceability & Sustainability, in line with sourcing strategies and compliance management.

• Manage supplier relationships and contracts, ensuring strong internal relationships with market teams.

• Develop contingency plans and alternative materials/suppliers to secure key materials, collaborating with R&D, market teams, and suppliers.

• Improve supplier cost models to enhance transparency of cost drivers.

• Ensure material availability by working closely with suppliers and consuming countries.

• Maintain pricing accuracy and support price forecast maintenance.

• Engage with R&D for alternate material approvals and lead regional implementation of global projects involving surfactants.

• Lead and support cost savings initiatives in line with sourcing strategies and compliance management.

• Assist the Procurement Manager with the tendering process, benchmarking, and total cost analysis.

• Support operational complexity reduction programs and continuously improve ways of working.

• Ensure compliance with initiatives such as contract management, SQA/RS, and specifications.

WHAT YOU NEED TO SUCCEED

Experience & Qualifications:

• 3-5 years of experience in Procurement, preferably with Direct materials.

• Fluent in English with excellent oral and written communication skills, including presentation skills.

• Understanding of International Trade, including duties and taxes.

• Strong analytical and conceptual problem-solving abilities, including advanced Excel skills.

• Fast learner, structured, and resilient.

• Outstanding in idea generation, with forward-thinking ideas that contribute to creating a sustained competitive advantage.

• Experience in Finance (Costing & Pricing) is a plus.

• Procurement Insights and Analysis:Understand category and functional strategies and procurement requirements; Industry, economic, competition, and supplier insights.

• Procurement Strategy Execution and Performance Management:Competitive bidding and tendering; Supplier negotiation; Supplier qualification and onboarding; Contractual supplier engagement; Supplier performance measurement and management.

• Partnering with Suppliers to Win:Attract, select, manage, and motivate partners; Identifying value-creating opportunities.

• Driving Sustainability through Procurement:Materials and/or services Supply Chain analysis and risk assessment; Evidence-based measurement for sustainability.
