We are seeking a Middle React Native Engineer with intimate familiarity with the mobile platform to join our team. Our Mobile Engineers are engaged in the full spectrum of product development, working with a team to write great software and build engaging products.

We generally operate with small teams working closely together on a wide variety of projects that range from Bluetooth integration with hardware to experimental system mobile applications. We have products in production today built with a range of platforms. We are not religious about our technology but choose the best for the problem. Our mobile stack today includes React Native, TypeScript, Node.js, and more.

Requirements

Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of experience working on large development projects using React Native and related tools
  • 2+ years of experience using TypeScript
  • 2+ years of experience building robust unit tests and component tests using tools like Jest, Vitest, React Testing Library, or Cypress
  • 3+ years of experience developing in an Agile project management environment
  • Strong understanding of component lifecycles and hooks in React 17+
  • Understanding of State Management tools like Redux, Context, and RTK Query, and the different uses/purposes of each
  • Experience working within a codebase that utilizes code quality enforcement tools like ESLint, Prettier, and Sonarqube
  • Experience giving thorough status updates, grooming agile stories, and estimating work
  • Get equally excited about scalable UI and API design
  • 2+ years experience building applications that interface with REST APIs
  • Understanding of scalable UI development patterns
  • Understanding of scalable API development patterns
  • Experience building and deploying with cloud-hosted CI/CD pipelines
  • Knowledge of building QA test automation using modern E2E Test frameworks like Cypress, Playwright, etc.
  • Experience in building scalable and maintainable application architectures
  • Experience in leveraging cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Terraform and CloudFormation
  • Work well with others, enjoy collaborating with others, unafraid to reach out to others for support

Nice to have:

  • Experience working in scaled mobile architectures like Monorepos, and utilizing shared internal libraries
  • Experience building and maintaining application analytics
  • Experience building Authentication and protected applications
  • Experience utilizing tools to support monitoring, logging, and securing applications
Job Responsibilities
  • Work as part of a Scrum team on the functional scope provided by a client
  • Collaborate with a distributed, cross-functional team
  • Perform requirement analysis, actively contribute to technical design sessions, and participate in all stages of software design
  • Ensure high-quality, well-verified software delivery through best design practices and efficient end-to-end processes
  • Focus on initial assessment, refinement, testing, and the continuous evolution of the client's solutions
