We are seeking a Middle React Native Engineer with intimate familiarity with the mobile platform to join our team. Our Mobile Engineers are engaged in the full spectrum of product development, working with a team to write great software and build engaging products.

We generally operate with small teams working closely together on a wide variety of projects that range from Bluetooth integration with hardware to experimental system mobile applications. We have products in production today built with a range of platforms. We are not religious about our technology, but choose the best for the problem. Our mobile stack today includes React Native, TypeScript, Node.js and more.

Requirements:

Qualifications:

  1. 3+ years of experience working on large development projects using React Native and related tools
  2. 2+ years of experience using Typescript
  3. 2+ years of experience building robust unit tests and component tests using tools like Jest, Vitest, React Testing Library, or Cypress
  4. 3+ years of experience developing in an Agile project management environment
  5. Strong understanding of component lifecycles and hooks in React 17+
  6. Understanding of State Management tools like Redux, Context, and RTK Query, and the different uses/purposes of each
  7. Experience working within a codebase that utilizes code quality enforcement tools like ESLint, Prettier, and Sonarqube
  8. Experience giving thorough status updates, grooming agile stories, and estimating work
  9. Get equally excited about scalable UI and API design
  10. 2+ years experience building applications that interface with REST APIs
  11. Understanding of scalable UI development patterns
  12. Understanding of scalable API development patterns
  13. Experience building and deploying with cloud-hosted CI/CD pipelines
  14. Knowledge of building QA test automation using modern E2E Test frameworks like Cypress, Playwright, etc
  15. Experience in building scalable and maintainable application architectures
  16. Experience in leveraging cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Terraform and CloudFormation
  17. Work well with others, enjoy collaborating with others, unafraid to reach out to others for support
Nice to have:

  1. Experience working in scaled mobile architectures like Monorepos, and utilizing shared internal libraries
  2. Experience building and maintaining application analytics
  3. Experience building Authentication and protected applications
  4. Experience utilizing tools to support monitoring, logging, and securing applications
Job Responsibilities:

  1. Work as part of a Scrum team on the functional scope provided by a client
  2. Collaborate with a distributed, cross-functional team
  3. Perform requirement analysis, actively contribute to technical design sessions, and participate in all stages of software design.
  4. Ensure high-quality, well-verified software delivery through best design practices and efficient end-to-end processes.
  5. Focus on initial assessment, refinement, testing, and the continuous evolution of the client's solutions.
