Job Summary

This role is responsible for coordinating and implementing purchasing processes to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of goods and materials. The successful candidate will have strong communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers to optimize purchasing processes;
  • Process demand requests and exception messages in a timely and accurate manner;
  • Reconcile delivery schedules with suppliers, taking into account stock levels and inventory management;
  • Verify order confirmations for quantity and date accuracy;
  • Coordinate delivery reminders and monitor material flow until physical delivery;
  • Prepare and send orders, delivery schedules, forecasts, and framework agreements as required;
  • Support claims processing and prepare supplier evaluations;
  • Sending necessary documentation to suppliers.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., supply chain management, business administration);
  • At least one year of professional experience in a similar position;
  • Excellent knowledge of German (required for communication with suppliers and within the organization), with English language skills desirable;
  • Experience working with SAP (Purchasing, Production Planning, VM) or other ERP systems;
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail and organizational abilities;
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with excellent communication and negotiation skills;
  • Commitment to company goals and objectives.
