Currently, we are looking for a Delivery Director to join our team.

In this role, you will be driving the organization and supervision of necessary processes, teams, structure, and technology services composition to successfully deliver what N-iX Clients expect to achieve their goals. The Delivery Director will be the primary point of contact for clients during the delivery phase and will report directly to the VP Delivery.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Ensure sustainable growth of the unit through excellence in building winning teams, managing delivery operations, and focusing on enterprise and strategic accounts.
  • Ensure enterprise and strategic accounts portfolio through delivering added-value services and solutions; establishing, maintaining, and executing long-term accounts plans.
  • Participate in contract, pre-sales, and price negotiation processes to sign the deal on favorable terms for the company.
  • Support team ramp-up and onboarding (from recruitment and forming teams to process establishment and stabilization).
  • Manage efficient and scalable sub-unit structure, ensure implementation of the best software and delivery practices to exceed customer expectations.
  • Ensure engagement methodology is followed by a team from opportunity assessment to project closeout.
  • Work closely with customer management to understand the requirements for the project, develop effective working relationships and ongoing management processes for the project.
  • Manage customer expectations & relationships with client's engineering professionals and stakeholders; ensure client satisfaction from services delivery.
  • Explore additional opportunities and drive future through quality results.
  • Financial and contractual responsibility for engagement profitability.
  • Ensure high satisfaction and engagement of the team members; maintain a productive environment and N-iX culture across the sub-unit.
  • Manage and monitor sub-unit financial results.
  • Contribute and drive continuous improvement of the delivery management function.

Required Experience and Skills:
  • 8+ years of experience in IT, technical background (Software, QA, DevOps, Product Ownership, etc.) is a must.
  • 4+ years of experience as Delivery Director/Delivery Manager in IT service business is a must.
  • Advanced level of Polish and English languages is a must.
  • Knowledgeable of software design, testing, and delivery methodologies.
  • Fluency in methodologies as they relate to delivering and implementing IT solutions required.
  • Excellent judgment, interpersonal communication, analytical, and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to multi-task and alter direction easily to accommodate changing priorities.
  • Strong people management and client relationship skills.
  • Experience in successfully delivering services to Enterprise clients.
  • Experience in managing multiple distributed teams.
  • Proven background in managing different types of projects (Fixed bid, Time and Material, Outcome-based, SLA) and delivering solutions.
  • Strong service/client-oriented attitude, focus on an outcome.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities across various groups.
  • Knowledge of the latest trends in SW technologies and tools.
  • Readiness to visit the office (in Wroclaw or Warsaw) a few times per week.

  • Experience in coaching, mentoring, and conducting training.
  • Experience in working with global companies.
