Job Description: Global Finance Analyst

The Global Finance Analyst (GFA) plays a critical role within Hyva's Global Accounting Services Team, executing projects across Hyva's Finance organisation globally. This position involves working on a project basis to support different finance teams around the world in situations of temporary resource gaps or other key disruptions. Additionally, the GFA will lead or support projects to enhance efficiency and quality in the finance function.

Main Tasks and Responsibilities
  1. Fill in resource gaps across the Global Hyva Finance organisation due to temporary shortages, providing support to various roles and activities, including:
  2. Oversee and guide team members, offering coaching, feedback, and support to help achieve individual and collective goals;
  3. Prepare accurate and timely journal entries, recurring and allocation journal entries, and gather supporting documentation;
  4. Submit accurate and on-time financial information for group reporting in OneStream;
  5. Reconcile balance sheet accounts on an ongoing basis;
  6. Responsible for indirect tax, statistics information, and other financial information to ensure compliance with local laws and regulations;
  7. Maintain an appropriate internal control environment in terms of P2P and O2C;
  8. Ensure timely payment to suppliers;
  9. Consolidate and analyze financial data, considering company goals and financial standing;
  10. During non-disruption periods work on projects to improve quality and efficiency in the finance function:
  11. Enhance efficiency through standardization and automation in the Finance function.
  12. Implement metrics to measure efficiency and quality of the accounting function.
  13. Drive improvements with Business Process owners and IT support in the Finance function.
  14. Implement and/or enhance the use of Business Intelligence and Robotic Process Automation.
  15. Establish and maintain work instructions.
Position Requirements
  1. Educational Level: Bachelor+
  2. Professional Experience: 7++ years of relevant experience
  3. Excellent communication skills in English
  4. Ability to work in a multicultural environment
  5. Willingness to travel for longer periods (few weeks/months) if required
  6. Ambitious and continuously looking for improvements
