Entalpia Europe is the brand name of ICOOL Ningbo CO., LTD, the world's leading manufacturer and distributor of highly specialized components for refrigeration and ventilation. It has representation in more than 130 countries on 5 continents. Due to intensive expansion at our new location, This role is both global and local in scope, requiring collaboration with international teams while also ensuring the effective implementation of processes and standards at the local level. We are looking for an independent and experienced health and safety specialist to develop, implement, and supervise health and safety programs at our new location in Lazy, near Warsaw. The ideal candidate will provide compliance with all relevant regulations, promote a safety performance culture, and proactively respond to potential workplace risks.

Responsibilities

  • Develop safety policies, monitor and analyze the safety status of the newly established manufacturing facility.
  • Conduct risk assessments as required and proactively follow up on control measures until the process is completed.
  • Update and maintain proper regulatory status of documentation.
  • Co-establish, maintain, and develop standards related to improving occupational safety and fire protection.
  • Participate in the assessment of occupational risks at workplaces.
  • Conduct detailed analyses of logistics center data when monitoring recordable incidents on site.
  • Plan audits and conduct inspections for the implementation of HSE policy.
  • Plan and supervise work environment surveys and measurements.
  • Undertake action plans to ensure continuous and sustainable compliance with legal regulations.
  • Contribute to conducting a risk assessment for changes in the organization and processes, in the implementation of processes, and for work performed by subcontractors.
  • Knowledge of HSE-related ISO standards (ISO-9001, ISO-14001, ISO-45001) is required, and relevant certificates are preferred.
  • Experience as an EIA consultant or in the EIA field is a plus.
  • Experience in HSE audits is required, and in addition to the usual internal project audits of the company, experience in external third-party audits or experience in dealing with government relations is preferred.
  • Knowledge of CAD software is required, and knowledge of Microsoft Project is preferred.

Qualifications

  • Education in accordance with the Decree of the Council of Ministers of September 2, 1997, on occupational safety and health service (Journal of Laws 1997.109.704): Occupational Health and Safety Technician or higher education in occupational health and safety.
  • Proficient knowledge of legal regulations in the area of occupational safety and health.
  • Very good knowledge of the English language enabling adequate communication.
  • Independence and proactivity in decision-making.
  • Assertiveness.
  • Work experience in HSE in the energy or oil sector will be an added advantage.
