Health, Safety & Environment Lead Specialist

Partner with the best

As a HSE Lead Specialist, you will ensure the well-being of our workforce and compliance with HSE for a region. You will build relationships with cross-functional teams and customers to ensure requirements are met. You will provide solutions and help to develop your team and continuous improvement of our HSE.

As a HSE Lead Specialist, you will be responsible for:

  • Acting as an expert on HSE topics including industrial hygiene, injury & illness, ergonomics, electrical safety, process safety management, etc.
  • Providing general health & safety advice and support for multiple sites or a region.
  • Conducting HSE audits, inspections, and evaluations to detect existing or potential accidents and hazards and to determine preventative measures.
  • Advising functional managers or other functions regarding approaches, processes, and procedures in your field.
  • Handling communication with direct colleagues and the business about approaches and methods for solving complex problems.
  • Leading as a project leader of medium-sized projects or being a major contributor to bigger projects.

To be successful in this role you will:

  • Have a degree or postgraduate studies diploma in Environmental Health and Safety (meeting Polish qualification requirements).
  • Have good working experience in Health and Safety.
  • Have good oral and written communication skills.
  • Have good interpersonal and leadership skills.
  • Have the ability to influence others.
  • Be able to lead initiatives of moderate scope and impact.
  • Have the ability to coordinate several projects simultaneously.
  • Have effective problem identification and solution skills, with proven analytical and organizational ability.
