Grid Dynamics is looking for a Market Research Specialist to assist the global marketing and sales teams with gathering customer intelligence and supporting pre-sales and marketing activities. The role is critical for the success of the sales and marketing teams and an ideal candidate should have strong business acumen and interest in reading, analyzing and interpreting data from a variety of sources to get business insights.

Responsibilities:
  • Collect data on customers, competitors and market trends and consolidate information into actionable items, reports and presentations.
  • Providing intelligence to sales pursuit teams, account teams and corporate functions.
  • Assisting sales and marketing teams with qualifying of prospects, gathering and analyzing business insights from a variety of sources, collecting the contact information, supporting marketing and sales outreach.
  • Research of potential clients for a given service offering.
  • Contributing to the prospecting strategy by analyzing industry and technology trends and matching with company capabilities.
  • Gathering, updating and validating contact data for marketing and business development team.
  • Researching other miscellaneous topics as needed.
Requirements:
  • Good aptitude for reading, comfort with number crunching, and ability to present analysis in an objective and cogent manner.
  • The ability to form, articulate and defend an opinion based on research and analysis.
  • As a part of this role, you would be in close touch with Sales Territory Heads, BU Heads, Operations Heads, Marketing Leaders, hence requiring good maturity levels to handle senior level discussions.
  • Familiarity with the application and fitment of digital technology is a plus.
  • Good proficiency in working with Google Spreadsheets and Slides, or Microsoft equivalent.
  • Experience in working with research tools (e.g. ZoomInfo, Lusha, Apollo, Crunchbase, BuiltWith).
  • Advanced level English, strong communication, leadership and presentation skills.
  • Ability to interpret large amounts of data and to multi-task.
  • Strong analytical and critical thinking.
  • Bachelor's degree.
