Software Delivery Lifecycle Manager

As a seasoned professional with 13 years of experience in software delivery, you will oversee the end-to-end execution of the software development lifecycle (SDLC) to ensure successful delivery of releases that provide new capabilities to SAP S4Hana and other applications as assigned.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversight of SDLC activities from intake to post-deployment transition-to-run activities
  • Development and maintenance of annual release calendars and milestone-based schedules
  • Monitoring of demand against available capacity and recommendation of resource adjustments
  • Alignment of commitments to planned releases on an achievable schedule
  • Facilitation of routine release status meetings
  • Preparation and delivery of release status updates, release notes, and other relevant communications
  • Management and resolution of release issues and risks, serving as a first-level point of escalation
  • Collaboration on environment strategies for in-scope platforms
  • Creation of aligned delivery plans with clear milestones
  • Tracking of committed delivery plans against milestones, holding actors accountable
  • Holding vendors accountable for meeting performance and quality expectations
  • Negotiation with partner applications to align plans and resolve issues
  • Analysis of impact of requested work and development of aligned plans that mitigate and resolve risk
  • Execution of the Change Control process in ServiceNow to ensure compliance
  • Knowledge transfer of new capabilities and smooth transition into the support model
  • Resolution of hypercare issues and determination of root cause with preventative actions
  • Fostering of continuous improvement and contribution to process maturation
  • Establishment and improvement of metrics conveying achievement against key performance indicators
  • Compliance with regulations, policies, standards, procedures, and documentation
Education & Special Trainings:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, Business, or equivalent field of study required
  • Master's degree in MIS, MBA, or related disciplines preferred
Qualifications & Experience:
  • Minimum 13 years of professional experience, with at least 10 deploying software releases and 8 specifically on SAP
  • Prior experience and understanding of enterprise platforms, direct experience in global system rollouts required
  • Maintenance of strong relationships within Stryker Divisions and Geographies
  • Consideration of upstream and downstream process impacts and implications
  • Acute business acumen and understanding of organizational issues and challenges
  • Versatility and willingness to work with changing priorities
  • Experience in enterprise solution methodologies, both waterfall and agile approaches preferred
  • International experience and/or exposure working in other business functions preferred
  • Knowledge of Lean, ITIL, PPM, PMO, etc. standards and processes preferred
  • Effective communication with Senior Management
  • Generation, explanation, and presentation of detailed schedules, objectives, reports, and documentation
  • Cohesive work across a cross-functional and matrixed organization
  • Data analysis and problem-solving skills
  • Initiative driving and project management from start to finish
  • Exceptional written, verbal, and presentation skills to diverse audiences

Travel Percentage: 10%
