This role will function as the Senior Associate Product Manager of a newly formed team, to build the next generation Catalog platforms at GPC. Working with a highly talented team, you'll play a key role to build and run one of the world’s largest automotive and industrial replacement parts operations.

This role is responsible for assessing business needs and working with cross-functional product teams to find the fastest way to achieve value around those needs. The role focuses on delivering business value to drive sales, improve efficiency, and improve customer satisfaction through the production of quality products. Within their designated enterprise product line, Senior Associate Product Managers work closely with teams of developers, designers, and business partners.
Working with a Product Manager, this Senior Associate Product Manager role will be responsible for the creation of data science capabilities that aid in the maintenance, mastery, analysis and governance of catalog (product) master data. Products and features under the guidance of this product team will evaluate and cleanse data during the onboarding process and existing data in the Product MDM system. They will also leverage large data analysis, AI/LLM and traditional ML to improve any/all aspects of GPC’s product master data management practices. More generally this role will also orchestrate work addressing customer pain points across the GPC enterprise, and lead teams in the definition, discovery, design, development and delivery of end-to-end capabilities leveraging technology, operations, and process.

Strategic:
Collaborate with product leadership on product strategy and roadmap
Maintain a product roadmap
Collaborate with engineering to Translate business strategy into technology product strategy
Maintain knowledge of competitive landscape and technology innovations
Drives growth for the business by applying domain expertise to provide thought leadership and translate vision into action
Execution:
Defines and communicates value propositions, OKRs, success metrics, and outcomes
Develop deep knowledge of business processes for the domain
Drive prioritization of product capabilities
Collaborate and drive cross-domain prioritization and sequencing of activities
Create/document/track KPIs to measure relevant business goals for the domain
Stakeholder Management:
Represent domain during enterprise planning and discovery
Manage stakeholder expectations to ensure scoping, backlog and delivery aligns with product strategy
Provide regular updates to product roadmap
Tactical:
Represent business throughout technology development process
Document requirements (functional and non-functional) via epics, features and user stories
Maintain and prioritize product backlog
Track releases and communicate delivery roadmap
Plan and conduct user showcases and acceptance testing
Work with agile practitioners and engineering to improve the overall delivery lifecycle

requirements-expected :
Degree in Computer Science or Engineering fields or equivalent years of experience preferred
4+ years of experience in product management, business analysis, program management or product marketing
4+ years’ experience in scrum/agile development methodology
4+ years’ experience participating in product backlog prioritization and grooming/refinement
4+ years of product ownership and helping drive road-mapping, planning and delivery in an agile environment
4+ years’ experience designing data distribution processes and solutions for an Omni Channel Enterprise preferred
4+ years of SQL, large data analysis
2+ Years working with machine learning tools (Sas, SPSS, R, Vertex AI)
Experience working with LLMs to deliver business solutions
Experience in transactional or master data management practices
Experience designing data-oriented solutions using Microservices and file feeds via any of the cloud platforms (preferably Google Cloud Platform)
Experience designing Catalog/Product Data Management and Syndication solutions using MDM Platforms equivalent to or similar to STIBO STEP
Experience working with product syndication systems like (ProductSup, channel advisor, etc) or working with ETL platforms (Informatica & similar)
Experience working on cataloging data management/distribution processes and solutions for the Automotive Aftermarkets domain is a plus
Knowledge of Automotive Aftermarket Industry Catalog Exchange Standards like ACES and PIES is a plus
Demonstrated experience with analytical and critical thinking skills; ability to use data to break down complex problems and formulate plans
Experience in identifying goals, metrics and analytics to measure product
Experience in conducting user research and testing to understand needs
Experience in conducting competitive research and analysis
Experience supporting, mentoring, and managing product owners is a plus
Experience in the B2B and retail business is a plus
Excellent oral and written communication
