Data Governance Manager

Requirements:
University degree or equivalent (preferably in Computer Sciences, Information & Technology, or similar)
3/5 + years experience of embedding Data Governance processes and standards into existing and future strategic projects
5+ years in a major services organization, with change or transformation leadership experience and a good understanding of various project management techniques
Experience with rolling out data governance frameworks and roadmaps, aligning and documenting data definitions, setting up a proper data governance organization, and data quality controls
Varied and detailed knowledge of Data Management areas such as data quality, data migration, metadata management, etc.
Outstanding interpersonal skills
Flexibility to adjust to multiple demands, shifting priorities, ambiguity, and rapid change
Strong organizational, business understanding, and analytical skills
Fluent in English
Proficient with computers and Microsoft Office
Responsibilities:
Maintain data governance best practices and research suppliers and markets, to identify new business opportunities about the use of data assets
Represent data as a strategic business asset at the Senior Management table
Facilitate Data Governance solutions evaluation from technical and functional sides for data governance initiatives and other enterprise projects according to the industry standards and cutting-edge technologies
Collaborate with leadership across the organization to identify business needs and implement Data Governance capabilities
Serve as a liaison between Business and Functional areas and technology to ensure that data-related business requirements are clearly defined
Work on the delivery of Data Governance communication plans
