The Collaboration Tooling team play a pivotal role in delivering tooling and support to all the Value Streams within WPB; 3000 developers and 30,000 end users. The tools being managed currently within the team consist of Slack, Jira and Confluence and are maintained both on-prem as well AWS.

As an Atlassian DevOps Engineer, you’ll be within a team who have full responsibility for the WPB Jira, Confluence and Slack platforms. These applications are critical to all WPB Teams, so it’s imperative to maintain a 100% uptime and provide an excellent level of service to all 35,000 users

What you need to have to succeed in this role
Fluency in written and spoken English and be comfortable working in a multi-cultured/global environment.
Ability to debug, optimize code, and automate routine tasks.
Systematic problem-solving approach, coupled with excellent communication skills and a sense of ownership and drive.
2 years’ experience managing & supporting an infrastructure Hosting Environment - Linux, AWS, Databases (MySQL, Postgres).
4-5 years' experience administering & supporting Jira and Confluence.
Groovy Experience (ScriptRunner, JMWE, System scripting)
Be comfortable following Scrum methodology and working within an agile, multidisciplinary team.
Great communication - convey your thoughts, ideas, and opinions clearly and concisely face-to-face or virtually to all levels up and down stream.
