Initial Deliverables:
Within your first month you will understand your team’s services and existing testing setup, as well as understand their quality and overall testing strategy,
By your second month you will be delivering test-related tasks together with the rest of the product team,
By your third month you have defined a high-level test plan for your team’s services.

Complex systems, especially those operating in high-regulation industries like insurance, require thorough testing and validation.
Our Quality Assurance Strategy states that the responsibility for Quality and Testing is shared by the whole development team. We are looking for an effective balance between different test levels, types and techniques to achieve speed and quality. We are looking for a Quality Engineer to bring deep quality assurance and testing knowledge to a product team.

Interview Process Introductory interview with Quality Lead - 30 min
Technical Assessment (Home-based task)
Meet with Quality Lead and Engineering Manager - 60 min
Values Interview with VP Engineering - 60 min

Experience and skills we are looking for
From day one we require you to have:
extensive experience in software testing and quality assurance
hands-on experience working in at least one area of automated testing browser based e2e testing
API testing
contract testing
infrastructure (in cloud) testing

experience in designing test scenarios for complex user flows
experience working with Product stakeholders to build a consistent and robust testing plan
We would be happy if you additionally have (or would like to learn)
programming skills (preferred, but not limited to python, java/kotlin, rust)
experience with performance testing and benchmarking
infrastructure (in cloud) testing
understanding of coded quality concepts
having a demonstrably good working knowledge of fundamental computer science and software engineering principles (algorithms, data structures, complexity, design patterns, architecture)
