About the project

We are looking for a passionate Senior DevOps Engineer with strong expertise in API Management to join our Platform Engineering team, predominantly working from our Wrocław office 2 days a week. In this role, you will empower API self-service management, governance, and observability across hybrid cloud environments (AWS/Azure). You will leverage your knowledge of API platforms and tools (e.g., Kong or others), Kubernetes, and automation skills to help scale a high-impact API platform.

Your responsibilities

- Enable and enhance self-service API management and governance capabilities across the organization using Kong Gateway and Kong Konnect
- Design and implement observability solutions to provide clear visibility into API usage and performance
- Manage and scale Kubernetes clusters supporting API services and ingress through Kong
- Collaborate with platform and infrastructure teams to build secure, automated CI/CD pipelines and Infrastructure as Code workflows
- Implement and maintain identity and security protocols, such as OAuth2 (and others), ensuring robust API protection

Our requirements

- Minimum 5 years of proven hands-on experience with API Management tools (Kong or others)
- Advanced understanding of API management, RESTful microservices architecture, and deep experience with Kubernetes cluster orchestration and API ingress control
- Expertise in designing and implementing Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Helm) alongside mature CI/CD and GitOps automation workflows
- Knowledge of identity and security protocols such as OAuth2 (other standards also welcome)
- Strong knowledge of AWS and/or Azure cloud environments (must have)
- Fluent English communication (minimum B2 level) enabling effective leadership, collaboration, and knowledge sharing within international teams
- Fluent Polish required
- Residing in Poland required
