Accounting Lead with Spanish In Cyclad we work with top international IT companies in order to boost their potential in delivering outstanding, cutting edge technologies that shape the world of the future. We are looking for an Accounting Lead fluent in Spanish language to build and develop our local SSC finance team, transfer knowledge from Mexico and drive process excellence. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in process mapping, transitions and process automation with the ability to lead accounting operations and implement best practices. Project information: Industry: Manufacturing Location: Katowice, hybrid working model (1 day remotely per week) Languages: Spanish & English Type of employment: long-term contract of employment Salary: 16000 - 20000 PLN gross (depending on the candidates' experience) Responsibilities: Oversee day-to-day accounting activities across General Ledger (GL), Accounts Payable (A/P), Accounts Receivable (A/R), Fixed Assets and Intercompany transactions Perform bookkeeping, prepare financial reports and support tax settlements Record, reconcile and monitor intercompany balances, ensuring timely settlements and compliance with group policies Verify accuracy of accounting entries, including VAT deductions and classification of tax-deductible costs Ensure compliance of all accounting processes with internal procedures, statutory requirements and IFRS/local GAAP Supervise and maintain the chart of accounts and accounting policies Process and reconcile vendor invoices, employee expenses and travel settlements Support customer invoicing, payment allocation and credit control activities Manage accounting records for fixed assets, including capitalization, depreciation and disposals Independently prepare journal entries and perform GL reconciliations Assist with month-end and year-end closing, including intercompany confirmations Prepare financial statements, management reports and group reporting deliverables Partner with other departments to provide accounting and tax expertise Lead and participate in projects focused on process optimization, automation and knowledge transfer Requirements: University degree in Economics, Finance, Accounting or related field Minimum 3 years of professional experience in accounting (GL, AP, AR, Intercompany - all of the areas) Strong transition experience Solid knowledge of CIT/VAT regulations and the Accounting Act Familiarity with IFRS/local GAAP standards Hands-on experience with SAP FI module Strong command of English and Spanish (spoken and written) Excellent analytical, problem-solving and communication skills We offer: Stable employment in a company with a strong market position Opportunities for professional development in an international environment Private healthcare package Life insurance Access to a sports card Benefit program 1 day of HO per week & flexible working hours Opportunity to build and shape a finance team and drive impactful process improvements
