About the position The Senior Technical Business Analyst will support business and technical teams in analyzing, designing, and optimizing insurance-related processes and systems. The role focuses on core platforms, API/microservices integration, and SQL-based data flows. The analyst will prepare functional specifications, BRDs, and integration designs to ensure seamless system operations and accurate process execution. Key responsibilities Analyze business and system requirements and translate them into functional specifications and BRDs. Support integration design and development for APIs and microservices across core insurance platforms. Work with SQL and data models to validate process flows and ensure data accuracy. Collaborate with technical teams to support system configuration, development, and testing. Document functional processes, system interactions, and integration points. Conduct impact analysis for changes and support UAT and other validation activities. Provide guidance on process flows and system capabilities to stakeholders. Support continuous improvement initiatives to optimize business and technical operations. Competencies 3-6 years of experience as a Functional / Technical Business Analyst in insurance or financial services systems. Strong knowledge of core platforms, API/microservices integration, and SQL. Experience producing functional specifications, BRDs, and integration design documents. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and documentation skills. Ability to collaborate effectively with technical teams, business stakeholders, and QA teams. Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail. Fluency in English.
